I have a 300u with a model 34 loader on it. I have gone through all the controls, cylinders and power steering. Right now, all cylinders settle some and do not move the proper direction unless the rpm's are up on the engine. Cylinders seem to settle less when the rpm's are up. Also, loader seems weak.
I do not believe it has the fluid in it suggested on this site. Could that do it?
Or, is it the pump? If so, are parts available to rebuild this hydraulic pump and are rebuilds successful? Appreciate any thoughts the experts have.

Hi Jimer, when we owned a 300U in the 50s when ever it would behave like that it was the wire mesh filter in the hydraulic reservior under the seat that was getting clogged.

You should install a gauge and measure the pump pressure. You should be using Hytran or Hygard hydraulic fluid or an equivalent. Hal
