We could use them on the 1256 so we could actually get through the feedlot a little better... still frozen under the slop, just need some good paddles to get us moving.

Those look new! Glad you got a deal on them.

Looks like she"ll pull anything that you can hook to her now!! They look real good for used tires. I"d call them "tahrs" Rice tires where I live.

The tires look absolutely great. How did you find used tires in that condition?

here in Quebec most combines run R2 tires, and some tractors as well. Fall rain is a killer here, and no till is questionable as we loose too many days in the spring waiting for the ground to warm up, thus fall tillage, especially in corn residue is almost a must. I ran R2 tires for years. They were always mounted on rims, so changeover was not too bad. They were loaded, too. Fully understand the longer tow cable procedure, all too well. Had an IH 1460 4x4 with 30.5x32 R2 tires, full grain bin, pull a Ford 8000 truck with a 20 foot box full of wet corn out of a mud hol;e. The Ford was down to the frame. That 1460 just put out more smoke as the Hydro lever went ahead in first, sat down and PULLED the truck out. Left a h-ll of a hole, and 2 deep long ruts, but she got her out!!!! R2s really pull if you have a bottom under the mud....QR..

You have to know your ground and your tractor when you have them in the mud. If you trust your hard pan, you can really impress folks with them. If not, you better clutch it as soon as they start spinning. It doesn't take many turns to have the drawbar on the ground.
