I was think about rebuilding the pump or putting new beagings in our Super H in. But first for laughs we thought we change the oil pressure gauge. The tractor had the orgional still on it and it showed at an idle just above the red area or just in the red area. and wide open it would show just above the O in oil on the gauge. Anyway the gauge was replced and now it shows over the L in oil at an idle and it anyhting above that the needle hits the peg (I think thats like 45lbs so I guess thats good). I guess I dont need a new pump!! I wish all things went this easy Andrew

My guess would be that if the pressure decreases as the engine warms up, that the bearings are worn. Steady pressure that reads low or high could be a calibration issue with the gauge.Always a good feeling when things work out well. Congratulations
