Well, I know several told me not to do it but I just didn't think I would be using it enough to keep it running well and didn't want it to sit idle and not be used like it should be. I got a 1996 Kubota with a loader and decided that if I could get a good price for the M I would go ahead and sell it. I sold it for exactly what I paid for it and got a years worth of use out of it and learned a lot while using it. I sold it for $2,500 with an old post hole digger that I had never used that I got with it when I bought it. The guy I sold it to seems like he will take care of it and really appreciated the care that I had put into it. I told him that he was welcome to call me if he had any questions or anything. My M wasn't a collector's item but a working tractor with an aftermarket 3 point hitch and some oil leaks here and there but I'll miss it. I've still got plenty of pictures of it though! ![third party image](http://padens.com/files/Farmall_M_right_front.jpg)
Amazing that you can get attached to an old piece of iron in just a year! Thanks everyone for all the great advice and help along the way. This is a GREAT forum and I'll still check in periodically and who knows, maybe I'll end up with another old farmall sometime down the road. Thanks again, Nathan
