Very nice. It looks like a lot of work just getting them on the trailers.

Dang Howard, You got some good finds, I have been tryin to do the same but between scrap prices being up, me being broke all the time and wanting to keep half of what I find for myself I'm not finding to many great deals. Everybody seems to think what they have is worth a small fortnune. I did pick up 2 H's, 1 M, case 1030, and an oliver 70 for parts this week...Keep up the good work....JiminIA

Good form Howard!!! I'd much rather see someone part those old gals out then have them melted down. Wish I was there with you finding that old iron. Keep it up.

That's a nicely kept equipment yard there NC. When kept in a nicely tended yard our "works in progress" become artifacts apart from junk. I'm lucky I don't have that kind of room or I would do damage to myself for sure. Nicely done!

Congratulations on finding and saving all of these artifacts. You have your work cut out to restore them. I'd be happy with just one of them.

Larry

All I can say is when I saw the pictures I was jealous, I'd sure like to find a cache of old Farmalls and truck them home to the farm, its good you are doing this, they are becoming historical technical artifacts and someday there will be none left to find and bring home.....Mike in Exeter Ontario

I think it is way too nice of iron to let the scrap man have by the ton! Your pictures always make me a little homesick for my old home country around Broken Bow. Where is it that you are located?

It is good to see these old machines being saved from the scrap man. Keep up the good work.
What is becoming of some concern to me now though, is what has happened to all the implements that these tractors used to work with.

Sid.

Nice pictures and thanks for saving those tractors.Far too many are getting scrapped these days.

I'm trying to save all the old SP combines I can as no one collects them.I'm 7 behind now on getting them all home and I get offered more all the time.

That is good to see them being saved either to be fixed or parted. Looks like you will have a lot of work to do! LOL

Cowman: Quite a load of history you have there. Yes, I'd say your qualified, but then I'm not sure but what your already there. No, it couldn't be, that red Ford looks like Bob Melville's. He can smell a narrow front Farmall, 1,000 miles away.

I do the same thing you are. Every time I find a tractor and I have the $$ to pick it up I do. I don't care what color it is I just want to save them when and if I can. If I can't fix them I part them out, shoot parts are getting hard to find any how

You"re doing avery very good thing. At least I can sleep knowing china ain"t gonna buy these, make bombs from them and drop them on us. I see so many tractors, plows, combines etc cut up going into scrap yards and hauled on trains, it makes me sick. THey are no doubt headed to ports to ship to china. WTF do they have up their sleeve? Now our inept Govt wants to let sponsors or terror control our seaports... The inertia of our demise is growing stronger by the day.

Railhead: You are absolutely right. Don't give China anything. Just make sure their currency gets revalued drastically upwards and then maybe our industry will have a chance again. To h--- with China. Lets look after ourselves first.
