First, does pulling the TA lever back fix the hard shifting out of gear? If not, then I doubt the fault lies in the TA adjustment. If it does, then adjusting the TA clutch might help some.

If not, then I’m going to speculate that the flywheel and pressure plate are worn to the point that the clutch disk is hanging up or “suctioning” itself to either the pressure plate or the flywheel which is a common issue especially with button (or dyna-life) clutches.

If the TA is adjusted properly and you still have problems, you can try shifting out of gear just before you come to a complete stop, this might make it easier on you and the shift lever.

With age and ware on the turn buckel clevis ya can't always go completly by the book . Set the free travel on the clutch as close as you can to spec. then the link that goes to the t/a clutch rod set it a bit tighter just as long as the throw out bearing is not rideing on the fingers you will be fine then ya have to adjust the t/a lever so it will release the t/a throw out bearing . Like i said it is only good on tractors with vary littel ware .

We will get through this.
Try adjusting the clutch pedal.
I am going to give you a tight dimension to see if it is the fault.
Adjust the clutch freeplay so that you can put your index finger between the pedal stop and the pedal.
this is probably less freeplay than spec. But if it allows the clutch to WAIT WAIT WAIT!!! I have it YA HOOO. The picture posted of your tractor shows clearly that there is an extension on your clutch throwout arm. This is the problem as it is limiting the total travel of the clutch throwout bearing. The solution is to put more holes in this lever upwards until the throw is great enough to allow easy shifting (full disengagement). To check it, will require the temporary placement of the clutch rod up on the arm (so it pushes farther) and try it. You might need to use a vice grip to keep it from falling down. Be safe and do not try experiments off the seat.

Look below at clutch arm extension (page 6) for a picture of what may be wrong. I see now that the picture was not your tractor, but I bet this is the problem, or just freeplay. Good luck,
