I TRADED FOR A 154 CUB LOW BOY THAT HAD A BAD CLUTCH AND T/O BEARING. IT HAS A FIVE FOOT MOWER UNDER IT SO I THOUGHT WITH THREE + ACRES OF YARD TO CUT, IT WOULD BE JUST WHAT I NEED. GOT IT UP AND RUNNING AND TRIED IT ON THE YARD. ON LEVEL GROUND IT DOES GREAT. GET IN SOME HEAVY GRASS WHERE THE YARD SLOPES, AND IT FALLS ON IT,S KNEES. IS THIS THE NATURE OF THESE TRACTORS OR DO HAVE I OTHER PROBLEMS?

I have a 154.Did that.this is what I did to make it work. Put the tractor on a flat surface. drop deck to cuting hight. turn the blades front to rear. adjust deck so that front end of blade is 1/4 to 1/2 inch lower then rear of blade. then level left and right. A 154 in fair condtion will cut 60 inches 6inches deep. My will anyway. If blades are lower at rear or even level it will be like cutihg 120 inches and that would be a job for an H. Bill If you want to e-mail or call that will be ok 989-292-0644
