HEY GUYS, TIMES ARE TOUGH SO I"M SELLING MY OLD SUPER H,MY PROBLEM IS I"M NOT SURE OF THE YEAR?THE PLATE ON THE CARBSIDE OF THE ENG. SAYS 22806J. THESE ARE THE ONLY NUMBERS LEGIBLE. I BELIEVE IS IS THE LAST YEAR THE H SERIES WAS MADE. THE BATTERY BOX IS UNDER THE SEAT,AND ALSO HAS LIVE HYDRAULICS.THER IS ABSOLUTELY NO WOBBLE IN THE NARROW FRONT END. ALSO YOUALL HAVE A AVERAGE PRICE RANGE? THANKS DAN

just a follow up, thanks for all tour help. turns out it is (or was) a 54 super h, I listed it on the classifieds, and a nice gentelman from iowa drove 350 mi to purchase it.

I believe you have an early 1954 Super H. The s/n range for the 1954 Super H's is 22202 thru 29285. The fact you have the battery under the seat pretty much identifies it as a Super H along with the live hydraulics. Is the model code still visible on the s/n tag? If so, model SH is a Super H and FBH is a straight H as noted in the earlier posts as a 1940 model. Hope this helps. Hal

depends alot on what area you live in. here in Wisc a good running super H with live hyds will bring$1600 to $2500 depending of course on condition. some pics would help. what state do you live in? Pat in Wisc

If its a H then those numbers = 1940. J means rockford clutch. However what you discribe would think that its a 54 Super H. Check to see if it has disk brakes that is one of the diffrences.
