You ordered the grill for the 70, but haven't see any pix yet....what gives? How do you like the sound of that ol heifer under a load? They make a nice beller in my opinion. Neighbor up the road has one that is all beat to tar but it gets daily use in the ground silo.

Hi Brian,

I'm havin' old iron withdrawl, 'er somptin'.

I told that outfit that I wanted 'em to put in new axle seals, a new seat and mount the darned factory 3 point for me. Guess I shouln't have paid 'em up front, 'cause it is still settin' in the same spot as it was on the day I bought it.

As fer that grille, it is still in the box. It is made of metal and painted jet black. Go figure.

So, then the same week, I bought a combine from the other dealer across town. They've still got it in their shop goin' thru it.

Guess I'll get out the cards and play solitare 'cause I gots no old iron to play with 'round here. :>(

Hi Vern,

I bought an old '76 Gleaner F. It has an 18' wheat table and another 13 footer with a pickup that I can use for the swathed oats next summer.

They aren't very big by todays standards, but I've owned a bunch of 'em in the past and know 'em like the back of my hand.

I really wanted that 6-pop diesel engine which is gettin' kind of hard to find anymore and the machine was close by, which was a big factor. :>)
