Ok guys took of the magnet.It stuck on the frame rail. so I think it is ok.I think now I need to check the condensor.How do I get at that sucker? Can I test the condensor, or do I replace it?

To replace the condensor, take off the cover where the magnet was. The coil is in there also. Remove the nuy from the condensor and take off the wire then take out the phillips head screw that holds the condensor in place. I have gotten those type of condensors at NAPA.

My own F-12 mag troubles were cleared up with a new coil. It made all the difference in the world. Now, once primed it often starts on the first rotation of the crank.

take it apart and replace the condensor , the coil and points. grease up the bearings. pg
