I am looking at an H thats for sale and has a front loader on it, I was wondering if I took the loader off would it be worth someone buying, and what could I expect to get for it.

trip bucket loader? scrap metal price...
articulated loader? then outside the midwest probably 400+ dollars.

but, a loader and tractor combo... drives the price of the tractor up quite a bit... I'd say keep the fool thing.

It all depends on what brand and style of loader it is. The value could range from zilch to no more than $200.

A John Deere #45W Loader (the 'W' is for wide front end) with decent hoses and a dual-spool control valve went for $160 at auction a couple of weeks ago. This loader will fit on an H. Here in CT our prices tend to run a little higher than the midwest. This loader had not been repainted but was fully functional and I thought the fellow got a pretty good deal.

Depending on the type of loader normally on an H it is an old straight arm trip bucket type 150-200. if not just depends what other tractors it will fit. not to many people are looking to put a loader on an H anymore unless to restore loader also narrow front trip buckets not live hydrolics is a killer to clean a barn. With that said I wouldn't expect to get much.

Thanks for the replys. I should have given you more info its a narrow front trip bucket, I just hate to scrap old stuff like this if someone is looking for it.
