I have a chance to buy a Super-C with fast-hitch, and 7 ft fast-hitch sycle bar mower, fast-hitch,disk plow, moldboard plow, and fast-hitch tote. Narrow front, starts and runs the best. rear tire"s are shot. Sheetmetal good. I can get it for 1700.00. What do you guys think. Good price?

I think you have a consenses so go get it quickly. I purchased a 1953 fast hitch Super C earlier this spring with a fast hitch 7 ft. sickle mower and grader blade for $1500. Mine has perfect sheet metal and had very little hard work in it's life. Mine needs new tires as well (still has original rear tires and muffler) and that will happen when I restore it. I find this tractor just far too handy to even think about laying it up for the restoration. I recently found what you call a tote which IH called a carryall and they go for $300-400+ just by themselves with new wood. If you don't need the disc plow and live close to Missouri just let me know. Enjoy your new tractor. Hal

Marc: Buy it quick, don't haggle a bit, as Micheal said those implements are worth $300. to $400. each. I have the offsets with one point fast hitch, took me 45 years to find all the fast hitch implements I have, 14 of them. The average cost has been higher than $400., however that is counting putting them in top shape and the thousands of miles I drove finding them.

That is the bottom line with these light IH tractors. Tractors aren't worth much, value is in the fast hitch and the implements that go with them. By far, away ahead of 3 point on small tractors.

I'm broke, but for that price I would buy it anyway--forget the tires. Just look it over good. Any bushings, etc on the fast hitch will be worn if it has seen heavy use.

With all of that equipment? You bet!

If you had to buy the implements separately, you'd probably pay at least $300-500 per implement depending on where you got them, not to mention the amount of time it would take to locate them.

With bad tires I would offer 1500.00 cash (and I do mean cash)rear tires were 300.00 each on sale a year ago but I do not know now. On the cash thing,I saw a guy ask 1200.00 for a truck and took 125.00 cash, you never know till you ask!
