I cant find ANYTHING at all on my grandpa"s McCormick-Deering 10-20... I got 6 books at the library and they had almost every tractor made in them... even the wierdest ones... but they didnt have the 10-20... it was mentioned twice in one paragraph... mentioning that most farmers didnt like it... but thats it.... so does anyone know much about them.... like some background info....

Seems odd that they would say that most farmers
didn't like them. The fact that over 200,000 of
them were sold should prove just the opposite.
It probably was one of the greatest tractors
ever built.

Not much ever written that i have seen but have all the specs. The 15-30 is more publisized and a lot of the features are the same, just in a bigger size.

Guy Fay's Data Book has a couple pages on the 10-20. Give me your email address and I'll scan the pages and send 'em along. My email address is jwc1934@aol.com

10-20 was a great tractor when it came to elephant tractors , they were built from 1923 to 1939.the fordson house in escanaba michigan has parts for them.king books out of ohio has a ton of books on them.the motor had 2 main besrings and they were of the ball type , i think detroit ball bearing still has them in stock.thats in detroit michigan.
