I know I"m not the only country boy with a 4 wheeler, so I have an engine question. I have a 4wd 325 Polaris (Magnum) that is 4 yrs old with low hours. It pumps engine oil back through the carb into the filter housing (a really nice puddle). It has also started skipping out at high RPMs and when you first hit the throttle. Any suggestions?

I also have a 325 2001 with the same problem, talked about it with a reliable mechanic, he said it needs a valve adjustment, recomended taking it to a Polaris dealer where they perform that task routinely. I'm taking mine in Monday, then I'll find out the cost? GL.

It has crank case ventalation, and that seems to be working as there is positive pressure out of it as it runs. I think my problem will become some mechanics problem real soon. These little engines drive me nuts!! Thanks folks.

Sounds almost identical to my 2001 325 Magnum (4 stroke), except mine is 2 wheel drive. Wish I could be of help with your oil issue, but I have not had any problem with mine other than squeaking brakes which is more nuisance than anything. I have not paid much attention, but is there any kind of crankcase ventilation system on these that could cause the oil to be pulled into the breather? As I said I have had very good luck with mine so far (knock on wood).
