Which way do the rod's turn when facing front of block? (#1 rod) long end right or left? (#2 rod)long end right or left?(#3 rod) long end right or left?(#4 rod) long end right or left? HELP I NEED THIS INFO SO I CAN CONTUINE WITH REBUILD.THANK'S LESTER

The rods and caps should be marked 1-4. The marks go in the camshaft side. Be sure to try turning the crank as you put each set together. If it is too stiff, loosen the cap and make sure that the rod and cap are square with the crank ( and you have 0.002-0.003" clearence with plastigage).

I no which rod and cap goes together and what order...What i don't no is..Same question?Long side of rod(Rod only)Right or Left?My cam is left of pistons when facing front of block..IH 350 UTILITY 4CYLINDER 175 CID MOTOR

right or left is determined by setting on seat facing forward. But seeing as you are confused, the long part of the rod goes on the camshaft side

first thing, they all go the same way. rods on a clockwise turning engine long side goes on the right or camshaft side. this also the side the are numbered on.

Thanks cowman for keeping me straight,I wasn't trying to argue.I just want to be sure it's my first rebuild and trying to get it right.I see now that when talking about tractors right or left should be expressed when viewed from tractor seat.Thanks again everbody.
