Small estate auction, small town. Three of the buyers drove them home less than 2 miles away. Restored all new rubber Super H, $3550, had a little miss, suspect valve/head problems. Restored B, very nice, $3800 43 Spoke wheeled H, iron shifter knob with IH logo, part number, all original, purred like a kitten, new Firestone (nubs) all around incredible 1100 dollars. Super M. Original faded paint, Clean, NO rust. lights, shields, rods, no welding anywhere. Looked like it never been left outside, or worked at all. Purred like a Tomcat! Stolen for 1700. Too bad I had bought a SMTA a week before. So once again the "paint" brought the money, as the two original tractors were the best items there.

I went to the auction in Milbank, SD on Saturday and a Super M that looked like it had never been inside (pure rust colored) during it's life brought $1450!

HI There GordoSD, How did you make out on that rebuild on the H was it. I got my pistons the other day and they looked pretty good the machine shop I use builds stock car motors and he said he would debur mine for me . And he also said theres a lot of meat under the dome and Cant believe that deburing caused the problem with the other Guys piston,I had to send my Rods out for new bushings and fitting the wrist pins to them also. I am looking for places to visit on a vacation out west sometime. Would like to take off from NY go through Canada probly around the lakes and the south west and see your great open areas. Dont know when probly in a few years but am looking for places to visit and things to do that is Farm related or tractor also. And if I am lucky maybe even during some kind of fishing or hunting season. Also Have to have things to Keep the other Half busy too.lol Let me know how you made out and if there is any great senery in your neck of the woods. JON
