I need the advice of you fellas. I have a 52 8n. I have a guy who wants to trade either a 330u or a hinomoto for it. What should I look for on a 330? Are parts still avialable? Or am I better off just keeping my n? I was hoping for a 340 Farmall, but I guess beggers can't be chosers.
Thanks in advance.

The only parts that can be hard to find and/or are expensive when found are the internal parts for steering box & maybe sheetmetal(hood). If steering box seems to be pretty tight then it's probably ok. Most will need brake work, but it's not a bad job & not very expensive. A 330 may or may not have independent pto. Long lever with push button on right side of seat is IPTO. T/A will have a long lever on left side of instrument panel. I'd trade a 8N for it in a heartbeat.

I wouldnt worry about getting parts. I have a 340 Utility and can find parts. The internet is a wonderful tool.

I'd take that trade in a second if the 330 is in decent shape. 34 horse engine, 5 speed transmission, indepedent PTO, should have live hydraulics, about the only short coming is that it probably has fast hitch instead of a 3 point. All around a much more usefull tractor then an 8N.

Thanks for the reply, it has a 3pt on her. Also does it have a TA? Does it have draft control? Thanks again.

TA was an option so it might not. Just guessing, but I don't think they have draft control.
