hello everyone,
i have a cub lo boy 850 that occasionally stalls out when the motor is warm (and usually has a load on it ie mowing heavy grass etc). it will not immediatly restart but will after a few hours. what could be the cause of this? i have replaced the gas cap with a vented one and the points and plugs are new. thanks

I would install a new condenser to see if that fixes the problem. If it doesn't I would replace the coil. That probably the culprit. Hal
PS: When it does this stalling after being used
pull the coil wire from the distributor cap and hold it about 1/4 inch away from ground and have someone crank the engine trying to make a start.
Should have a nice blue spark, if it's not firing it's probably the coil.
