On my 'A' the problem was a stripped bolt that was supposed to hold the oil pan on tight. It didn't and there was a little gap there. Water could run down the side of block and from surface tension or whatever would run around the lip of the oil pan and seep into the little crack. Sure confused me until I actually saw it happen.

just went thru this with a 400

let tractor sit a few days or as long as you can, drain some oil out of crankcase and see what color fluid comes out before the oil, clear is water, colored is anti-freeze

ours was clear, rain was running down outside of exhaust stack and into exhaust leak where stack pipe screws into the exhaust manifold

You may have a sleeve leaking around the seal at the bottom of the sleeve. See if you notice bubbles in the radiator when the engine is running. A good indication of a head gasket leaking or blown. I would drop the oil pan and see if any coolant is leaking from around the bottom of the sleeves when the tractor is just sitting. Set a dry tub under the engine and let it sit all night. Any leakage means you will have to pull the pistons and sleeves to replace those leaking sleeves seals. Hal
