I have a 1952 Farmall M. Narrow front end. I am needing various replacement parts. Is there any other farmall series that would match up and fit okay, or should I stay with the "M" series parts. Would the super m parts fit, for example? I guess I should consider too, if I want to keep it stock or not.

If I remember correctly a lot of SM, SMTA, 400 and 450 parts will fit on an M. There are some H parts that will fit, but fewer.

You need to decide if originality is more important than functionality. Personally, I like to keep them close to original, but…if there is an improvement that I deem more important, I do it. Examples on my M are live hydraulics, power steering, Schwartz wide front, 12 volt system, 6-bolt rims on the front and quartz lighting for night snow removal.

On second thought, maybe I don’t worry so much about originality…

Of course the H has many non engine block components that will bolt right on the M. Depends on what pieces in particular. Don't go strictly stock, simply go with the best solutions whatever they may be ;)
I put in NAPA thermostats, Stewart guages, 12 V conversions, NAPA crossfire paint color of my choice, etc... Make it your own top quality creation.
