I would say the steering, the worm and the flat gear, also the top bushing in the pedistal. If it does'nt shimmy in 5th gear wide open,Iwouldn't mess with it, Keep your fronts in the closest together setting and keep your front tires inflated exactly the same

If you are going to pull, I would go through the rearend and replace all the bearings. There should be an update kit from Case-IH. Otherwise, just replace what is broken.

Not sure on the H, but the M has a problem with the bull gears sucking broken ball bearings up. When a bearing fails, the balls lodge between the bull gear and case, and break the tranny case as they travel around. Of the 5 M's I have, all but one are broken and welded. I think the H may have enough space for the balls. Don't know for sure though.

Other than that, the blocks will be the first to go. Most derelict tractors I find have stuck or broken blocks. Most everything else that is cast is in great shape.

Same as on an M, the drawbar and supports. Other than that there about bullet proof. If it has a wide front the tie rods are probably welded also. Jake

Do not understand your question. Not sure if there were any weak points on the H.

Is anything not working right now? That would be the place to start.
