Hello, I am a newbee and just bought a 1939 Farmall H. It is in really good condition. I have been told that this is a rare find. I just wanted something to mow with and have a blade. Can anyone tell me the difference of this and later models. Also is it possible to put a 3pt hitch and use the belly pump for brush hog and back blade. Thanks for your responses.

being the first year of production there are some little differences that make it collectable. Yes you can add 3 point and I think you will be happy with it.

Yes, I noticed the seat is different. Its a flip up kind. Also there is a groove where the seat sits. Dumb question coming up. How will I raise the mower on the tractor? By the big long lever on the right side of the tractor..above the brakes?

yup, that rod under the steering wheel is for the hydraulic pump.
