Does anybody know why some w9s had one brass brakepedal and arm and one cast or anybody or anywhere I could find out? Thanks. Bryan

Hmmm...that's interesting. I'll do some checking.

One thing I have observed is a difference in how the clutch and brake pedal arms are made. My '48 W-9 has fabricated arms-they appear to be rolled, light gauge metal formed into rectangular box tube and seam welded. A fellow Club Member's '47 W-9 has cast arms. They are more attractive and more massive looking than mine. In contrast, another Club Member's '47 W-9 has the fabricated arms like mine.

Bryan. I have a W9, WR9, and a SWD9 and have not looked at the pedal or arm. I'll go look when it quits raining. Morgan
