DR
The Tractor Vet is right about the seal. Not only will it hurt the pump, if you let it go on long enough and not keep the pump drained from time to time the oil level in the pump will rise and the diesel/oil mixture will go thru the front seal into your crankcase. The only good that will come out of that is the inter crankcase of the block will be nice and clean but it doesn't help your bearings much.

Try Lemon Tractor in Indiana they still have parts and can also service/repair your pump. Bates Corp also has pumps for exchange. Graves Implenment in Indiana also can help or lead you in the right direction.

The seal on the lift pump is leaking and left not fixed it will wipe out the injcetion pump bushings and cause war elsewere. Not a big job to do if it is the one that you can still get the seal for as there is two differant styles and one is no longer serviced.
