Does anyone know what the bore size of a Super M is? When I bought my 1950 M last summer the guy I purchased it from gave me new sleeves and pistons. My manual says that a M has a 3 7/8 bore however the box says the bore is 4'. When i measure them it appears they are 3 7/8. Are these sleeves and pistons for an M or a Super M. The box does say they are for an M or an MV.
Thanks

450-4 1/8" They are alot of M's running around with 4" and 4 1/8" pistons. But those are the sizes from factory.

The M was origianlly 3 7/8" , the new oversize is 4". Super M was 4" with new replacement 4 1/8". The new will fit old bore size. sleeves are thinner
