Hi Fella"s.

I was talking to a client of mine today and he mentioned that he has a Cub Low-Boy (white & yellow) with hydraulics and some attachments and also good tires. He last used it 2 yrs ago , and some piece (sorry not clear on what piece) of the clutch assy. came apart. Now he says he took it apart by laying under the center of the tractor and has spent $300 Cdn on the parts to fix it. He says it "s all ready to be put back together but he doesn"t need/want it anymore. Also he says it"s always been a good runner (no smoke etc..) I know that he"s a totally honest guy, but I don"t know how much this thing is worth because the newest tractor that i"ve ever bought is a 1953. (I think this one is mid-70"s). He wants $ 750 .00 canadian...is this reasonable?? I"m going to see it tomorrow , so any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Thanx,
Jeff

Very good price, they are a little underpowerd and the clutch is the weak link but they are easy to fix,no spliting to repair it.

if you don't buy it. Then tell me where and how to get ahold of the owner and I will buy it.

A good running low-boy is worth $2,500 US dollars with just a mower. They are easy to work on and are just like a Cub. Don't let it out where this is or it'll be gone! I don't think you could get hurt on this deal.

They are FUN little tractors.

Hello,

the price is fair if everything else is OK. I never owned one but I looked into buying one and I was told it did not have enough power so I did not buy it. I was also told they had lots of clutch problems. I hope this helps.
