thanks to all who imput with there thoughts on my soon to be project, today i found a 91 dodge that is priced to right to turn down. has anybody repowered an md with a b model cummis, should make a prety useable tractor id think, just wish i had a 560 or something with a live power setup to use thanks again for any help with this

The frame rails have to be lengthened out, The cummins is quite long in length, Use a 560 frame rail and then you would not have to weld a set up, You could also use a 460-560 front end, and build your own 560, If you use the 560 upper bolster, you get the big 560 radiator, and the front sheet metal, (grille etc) Brackets are already there. That would give you clearence in the front end to clear the block. I built a 6 cyl H farmall, and built a different looking IH 460 pulling tractor. On the rear mounting brackets, you mite see if a manual bellhousing splits from the tranny, and use that set up, like described on how to do the chevy setup. ChadS
