As I've said before, my background has primarily been with Case tractors. We have a set of 2-row cultivators for 1939-1951 DC Cases, (I think they would work on an SC Case of the same years as well). I have been following the threads on mounted H/M cultivators. Do any of you have any good photos showing just how they were mounted and lifted/lowered? There were plenty of H/M's in the neighborhood but I none that I can remember having mounted cultivators. The mounted cultivators I remember were on Case, John Deere, and Oliver. Our neighbor used to cultivate with their Super H with a pull behind quack digger with some teeth removed. Worked quite well for him. Which brings up another topic...Did many people do that...cultivate with a quack digger? Fun stuff to remember! Thanks, Glenn F.

Neighbor has both the old IH 2 row and 4 row mid mount cultivators sitting in the trees. He would probably sell. Located in SD.

Here's a set of 450 cultivators I adapted for my M. Most of the shanks were rusted when I picked it up. Was able to salvage enough pieces to make a nice two row outfit for my gardening.

Ralph, I can't speak for anyone else, but I'd love to see them. I was raised on an H with steerable cultivatros, but don't know what model they were. I do remeber they were hand lift units that had the optional hydralic lift kit added. I remember that part well, because I got my foot caught in the handlift/depth adjustment once when I let it down with the engine shut off. Seemed like it took me forever to set the brake, get the tractor out of gear, and restart the engine with my right foot smashed in that lever mechanism.
