For a few years now my wife has been trying her best to find some common ground between her love of gardening and my love of old tractors, well this morning she finally found it.She is going to take a couple of old busted blocks I have laying around(why I have them still is beyond me),and turn them into flower pots. She doesnt know yet what shes going to put in them, but I think theyll look cool!I used one from an H to hold up my drill press and guess I was waiting to find something like that to do with these other two,she beat me to the punch and it wont go to China as scrap!

When scrap prices got to $100 a ton I just couldn't see any reason to keep anything that was broken beyond repair. So off it went.

I like that idea. I have often thought that an unuseable engine block might make a real nice base for a coffee table if it wasn't so darn heavy.

I put a whole tractor in my front flower bed last year. My wife still thinks Im crazy. I thought it was a good use for the old 37 B JD.

I have seen several old tractors in flowerbeds and they are many different ways to realy make nice displays and worse comes to worse can always sell it.

The Mrs. has a pretty good sense of humor, but, as with anything, there are limits. . .

But it would be durable as an end table and you wouldn't have to worry about sweat rings either! :>)

And if I left the stuck pistons in it I would have ready-made cup holders.

It's junk! It's art! You find an old tractor and tear it apart! Tear it apart! :D
