After rebuilding the engine on my Int. 504 I am having a problem installing the engine balancer. The IT shop manual says to align the chamfered teeth on the balancer to the chamfered teeth on the center gear on the crankshaft. I have found the correct teeth on the crankshaft but, the chamfered teeth on the balancer do not line up. They are two teeth apart. The teeth marked to rebuild the balancer are lined up correctly. Anyone one have any ideas on proper installation.

Hi, i'm not familiar with 504 but it have a 206, like a 584. Put the no.2 on top and the mark on the crankshaft gear is in place to match with the balancer one, wheigts in bottom of housing. Bernard le mécano Québec Canada
