What is the best way to fix pin holes in fuel tanks? Should I line the tank, if so what is the best kit/product to use? If I just fill the holes what product is best? Thanks for your time.
Glen

I went to NAPA and bought a 5 dollar gas tank repair kit. That was five years ago. some will say this is a bad fix, but I am convinced from past experience that done right it's a good fix.

Follow the directions to the letter, and you will be back in business.

Take Care
Steve

POR-15. I have used it in all my tanks on the farm and it has to be the best liner I have ever seen. I have even lined some of my old leaky funnels with it and they too are still working great.

Glen, if you have access to Hemmings Magazine, you might want to check some of the products listed that are for this type of problem.

I had my tank lined by a company that specializes in just this type of work.

POR 15 is not for pin holes but for rust on metal.

My experience is just go ahead and use one of the products on the market like Kreem or Por-15. If you patch the holes that are now present, it won't be long before you are doing it again and again and.....Do it once and do it right and you won't be sorry.

Hi Farmer Bob,
Thanks for the help. How much do the products you suggested cost and where can I buy them?
Thanks again,
Glen
