Gentlemen,

Will a loader off of a SMTA bolt up directly to an H or M model (assuming the H/M hydraulics have been properly modified)?

I'm under the impression the bellies of the H/M and SMTA are of the same width. Any help would be appreciated.

Tom

You won't have a problem mounting the loader, There are multiple holes in the frame rails and the angle of the bracing to the rails will work on either 18 0r 20in. if you have a box frame on the loader you might need some 1 in shims. I have a JD loader, can put it on my H,M,656no problem

Tom: The M-450 frame is 20 inches wide and the H-350 frames are 18 inches wide.(I don"t know about the 460-560 series) If loader came off of an M series tractor you"ll have to use spacers to adapt it to the H if no other width adjustments are provided on the loader. Good Luck...

What kind of loader is it? It will probably fit with some minor modifications.

I was told it is a WS6. I posted about it the other night and it didn't bring too many replies.

M, SM and SMTA are the same width. The H is narrower and SMTA is longer from flywheel to axle than an M or SM.

Okay,

So the loader will definitely not work on an H without modifications. I could likely shorten the arms where they attach at the axle to make it work on the straight M... correct?

Thanks again,
TOM
