hey folks,can a 350u pull a 3 bottom plow,with out pulling its guts out? or should i stay with the two?

My 350U pulls a three bottom fine, but better have a fuel truck close by. THese girls get THIRSTY when working that hard.

Hello,
Yes they do get thirsty. I worked mine pretty hard and fast with a 6' brush hog in I think 3rd or 4th and I was impressed with the power. Mine is LP, Ibby I think you answered some questions for me on the hyd. pump. I still haven't replaced it, some have sugested 30 wt oil in it what is your opinion? It now is makeing 350 to 425 psi dead head psi. Later Mark

I don't know for sure, But I'd be afraid of foaming with the 30 wt. As the pump is likely shot anyway (Did you ever clean your relief/safety valve?), what's the harm in trying?

I'd suggest saving up your pennies, parking the tractor for awhile and sending the pump off for a rebuild. I unblocked my email if you have any other questions. - Ibby
