My "new" Farmall 130 has a steel wheel on the left and a heavy cast wheel on the right/light side. Was this standard or an option or just someone's idea of the thing to do? Ed

Like Scotty said, it's for balance to help keep the tractor from upsetting. Engine weight is on the left, heavy wheel is on the right to offset it.
Some people don't understand that. Link below is to a picture of an example of one that didn't. This one is made even worse by the narrow front.

Farmered, That was the way the tractor came from the factory, cast weight balanced offset design.

Thanks guys! I got the picture! I just wanted to know if it was factory or aftermarket.
This one, I hope, is destined to be a parade tractor. I sure don't want to upset it at Capitol Ave. and Lincoln Way in Cheyenne. LOL
I hope that you weren't hurt Dave. I did that with a JD M crawler once. I wasn't hurt but I had the shakes for a couple of days.
