Do antique tractors have VIN numbers. If so, where?

For Farmalls, the numbers on the serial number plate indicate the year it was made. Letters (if any) following the numbers indicate what options it has. Letters preceding the serial numbers are coded for the model designation.

No, they have no VIN number. An old tractor would only have the manufacturers serial number, usually stamped on a plate somewhere on the tractor. Each make and model had the plate in different locations. Many of these plates have become worn to the point of being unreadable, and some have also been lost altogether.
