Farmall A radiator cap question

I was out tedding with the "A" today and there was some coolant coming out of the cap.( I think I put to much collant in to, about 1" form the top of the fill??) The cap is a regular fuel cap thats on there now. What kind of cap are is the correct one to use?

Radiator caps are readily available for these radiators. Check with one of the vendor sites on the side bar. The A is not pressurized, thermosyphon (no water pump). If too full, the excess will just go out the overflow.

It's not pressurized, so it doesn't matter, coolant will find the right level. If your cooling system is plugged, it will lose more, though.
