I had a friend of mine give me a 1066 that has a stuck engine. He said if I could get it running, it was mine. The tractor has been sitting for about 15 years. I pulled all the injectors and filled the pistons with PB Blaster and have been letting it soak. Any other ideas on how to unstick it. I really need to get it running quickly so I can get it on a water pump to water some soybeans. Thanks.

No, it is not a spun bearing. They parked the tractor because the front end has some problems, and when they got around to fixing the front, they found out that the motor had frozen up over the winter, so that is where they left it. Thanks.

If you get the motor loose dont work it to hard and watch your oil level you will probably have to replace the rings especally if the motors stuck and has been sitting for 15 yrs after rings have been stuck they could eventually scratch your cylender sleeve so watch out and good luck

When you say the engine froze up over the winter makes me wonder if it had water in the engine instead of anti-freeze. Or not enough anti-freeze. If that was the case, the block may be busted. Hope not cause that is ser-ious. Is there any water or anti-fz in the oil?
