I have an annoying oil leak in the power steering box of my 986. I have replaced the rubber seal which is cylindrical in shape about 3 inches in diameter and about 2 inches deep and tightened the bolts well( theres about 8 of them )and oil is still leaking from the second join from bottom although not as bad as it was.Has anybody any remedies?

Its actually called the power steering hand pump, when you get the replacement rubber sleeve it should be 1/8" longer than the steel sleeve to allow for crush seal.

RPM. The rubber sleeve I installed was new and probably only 1/16" longer than the steel sleeve. For some strange reason its inadequate.
