My husband and I own a mechanic shop and have recently acquired, by means of no payment, a 1954 Farmall Super M TA. We have put lots of money into this as far as parts are concerned and are clueless as to where we start in selling it. We would also like to know what the average cost is for a tractor like this. The only things needed to get it into show condition are rear tires and a nice paint job. If you can help, please call us at (308) 425-3077 or respond to this message.
Thanks much!!

Just traded ours for a haybine, got $2500 for it on the trade. Needed a TA, tin was fair, paint was good...

Restored, $5000+, perhaps $7500, they have sold for more than that. $10000, for example, seems somewhat steep. They are worth more than the other letter series because they were made only in 1954, and was the first Farmall with a TA and live PTO. Was a "transition" between the Super M and the 400. Typically worth more than the newer 400.
