Where is a good and affordable place to get a tune up kit for my 49 cub? Will Napa have it?

Ryan:

No disrespect to NAPA or 49 Cubber, Buuuuut! Do yourself a favour. Go to your CaseIH dealer, and get the tune up kit. It will probably cost you a buck or two more or maybe even less, but it will be the correct stuff.

I went to NAPA to save a few pennies. Ended up going to my dealer and getting the right stuff anyways.

Some locales dictate NAPA as there is not IH dealer within a reasonable distance and in that case, use what is available. But if you do have a dealer close by - go there!

No offence taken Rudi as my case is as you say,NAPA is extremely closer and I know the guy who owns the local branch. My closest dealer is around 125 miles round trip.Napa is 8 miles each way.Plus, the dealer doesnt stock ANYTHING for the ole gals unless its the same as a newer part for a new tractor like bearings or seals and such.

It may not be in a "kit" but they will have the stuff you need.I got most if not all of the tune up parts from Napa,I think I took all of my old stuff with me to be on the safe side.Plugs were easy and the wires were just a generic make a wire set,his book showed the cap and rotor, but not the points and condensor for some reason, but matched up to what he showed for the H,M etc.
