Pos. We had my m hooked up to neg,didnt start worth a crap. Then we hooked it up to pos, starts a bit better.

I seriously dought that your starting problem had anything to do with which way the battry was hooked up.The only thing that would matter is the charging.Most likely when you changed the battery around,you got a better contact on the battery post.

Ya i just thought about it some more, youre right. I should get some new battery cables, that would help a bit.

Even if your on 12 volt,get the biggest cables you can,0 or 1 gauge if you can find it works well for me.Some use welding cable.
