Just bought a M has a cable that goes into bell housing by hyd. fill. Increases all 5 speeds plus PTO . What make is it. thanks RON

Never saw a 10 speed most are 9 speed 5th gear does'nt change. Heisler made one Behlen made on I think they used the cable.M&W also made one. If I remember correctly M&W used an external shaft shift on the left side of tractor. Heisler was on the right

Now you can be geared like a SM on the high side or a regular M on the low side.

As far as speeds you will find 1st over is faster than 4th in a super. Our local farmers put them for rotary hoeing and having a gear between 4th and 5th for hauling wagons

It won't increase 5th.5th is straight thru. It's probably good that it doesn't or you would have one fast road gear.

More than likey it is an M&W overdrive. The Heisler brand was lever activated.
