I have a Farmall 450 gas that is running hot. After about an hour of moderate work, the temperature gauge needle moves into the red zone. The only things I've done to it this spring is put new plugs and reset the breaker points at .022. I've never had a problem with it running hot before. The fan belt and water pump seem to be working fine. Any ideas?

Sounds like you need to clean the rad fins and flush out the system. I flush out the system with a 70% vinegar and %30 water mix run it for an hour or so the flush with water.
