I have a Super C that has been sitting for the better part of 50 years. Today while pulling the M, it sort of lost power, and killed. It started right up again, but now smokes pretty bad. This happened once before, but the smoke cleared up after letting sit for a day. Is there a product out there that I can dump in that is supposed to alleviate stuck rings???

It isn't suddenly losing power, and then dying because of stuck rings. Not to say that you don't have some stuck rings, but it sounds to me like you have a carburetor problem that is causing your power and stalling problem.

Marvel Mystery Oil is revered by some for it's ability to loosen stuck rings. I don't use the stuff, so I pass this along without comment, for what it's worth.

How many hours have you worked the tractor since you've "re-activated" it? Often, the more you use it the better the rings will seat, and the better it will run.

I probably have between 10 and 20 hours on it in the last two years. The hardest work it's seen is leveling my road with a rock rake this spring.
