Andy, The mower you have will fit a F12/14,But you lack the mounting bracket to fit anything.Your mounting bracket for your tractor needs to be for a H/M/C Farmall and the breakaway your refer to is also known as a kickback is specific to the model of tractor as one end fasten to the frame you don't have.Ralph

Gary,

THANKS!!! that looks pretty darn close to what i have. would you have any pics showing how the "break-away" mechanism hooks up? i know it connects to the large eyebolt on the mower, but i'm not sure how it connected to the drawbar/frame on the tractor. i think i can set up this mower to work with my F-14, i just need to make up a few brackets. maybe i'll just order the #16 mower manual and see what it tells me.

Andy, I have a 16 A mower that I use on my 42A. One end of the breakaway attaches to the eyebolt on the swivel mechanism were your pitman stick is. The other end hooks up to a forged U bracket that is bolted to the right side of the mower frame looking from the rear of the tractor foward. I was able to rebuild this nice little mower, and have cut my 10 acre field with it the last couple of years. The manual is only abot $8 and well worth the money. scotty
