J.R., A W-30 engine will not fit in a T-20. The T-20 used an engine very similar to a F-20, except the crawler engine had a fuel pump and a water pump. Many T-20s have been converted over the years, but I can say with certainty that a W-30 engine is not the same. I have three T-20s myself. The block in the crawler does not use the tractor bell housing, but mounts with an adapter plate right to the frame. Will not work!!!

I'm not an expert on this BUT, I am almost certain that the T-20 used the same motor as an F-20 which is smaller than the 10-20 or W-30 motor size. I saw a T-20 one time that had a 10-20 motor mounted in it (or so I was told) and the motor was longer than the frame. It stuck out the front several inches.

I believe the crawler has a 10-20 engine which is the same as a W-30 engine without a water pump. Depending on the problems with the T-20 engine, you may be able to use the W-30 block and head without the water pump. Compare the head gaskets carefully to determine the differences.

I have always read and thought that a F20 motor is simlar to the motor in a T20. All T20's I have seen sure look like a F20. If I am wrong I will accept it as being missinformed.
