My main question is, worth it or not. It been converted to LP. Needs hood and gas tank. I hear the tank is longer than a regular M as well, is that true? Need a SM carb, tank mounting bracket, TA lever and linkage. Has factory WFE but has been welded on the cast bolster parts. Im overwehlmed. Would be fine for a work machine but Id like to get it back to its former glory.

I have a tank mounted on a SMTA that was converted from propane to gas. (I don't know if it is a SMTA or a M tank but it fits)I am removing it and putting the original propane tank back on (I was lucky, guy that converted it to gas kept all the LP parts). I looked the gas tank over today and it is rusty on the outside, cap it wrong, looked inside and low and behold, NO rust, clean metal, I cant believe it. Its for sale, I don't need it, let me know if you are interested.

Step back, take a deep breath, and be glad you got it home..

Realize that, first off, although it may be butchered, most if not all the parts you need are availible either through Ebay, or some other Web source. Its worth it, trust me.

I found a couple of nice Sources for good parts tonight, Ill find the links and post them in a minute.

Here they are.
Im pretty sure that quite a few parts are interchangable from the M to the SM(TA).
