Hello Gordon, --- 28 / Dec. / 2003 ---

Yes, IH made a tractor for the US Army. What the MODEL was, I am not sure.

Check the SERIAL NUMBER tag and see if you can come up with anything more.

Regards, Milton

Gordon, sounds like a question for Guy Fay. To my knowlege IHC made "industrial models of the Farmalls which of course could have been purchased by the military. Whether or not a Caterpiller engine could have been installed, I don't know. When I was a young boy, a frind from upstate NY claimed that they had a "real MD" because it had a pony motor Ours had the gas start diesel. I have seen Farmalls with all kinds of power... who knows. Have fun. Geoff
