Does anyone know the PPG or DuPont paint code for the white skirting on a 240.Also would be the same as used on a 460 or 560. I remember seeing it a while back on here, but like a dummy, never copied it down.I just know that it`s not the IH 901 paint currently available at the IH dealer. Thanks,Mark

How close is that color to Wimbleton White that Ford used to use on the old Mustang? As stated its kind of a cream color and I used it for my 350.

Why not just get some good old exterior latex from Menards or Home Depot... It may match what is already on it!!!!! ! I hope this is to restore the low hour 240 you have... Somewhere in my office is a set of IH Dealer Paint Chip/Samples from the 60s. If I find it, I would be glad to send it to a fellow Correct Police Officer!!!! The WIHS has a copy also...

You hit the nail right on the head! The white skirting is about all that needs attention on the 240 except with the possible exception of the 2 holes that were driven thru the top of the right side fender with what looks like a line up punch.I`m getting the tractor ready to bring down to Mt.Pleasant this June for the Red Power and also for Feb 2005 when Wisconsin hosts the National IH Winter Convention. If you find the chips, let me know .Thanks and have a Merry Xmas and Happy New Year!
