We are getting our Super C's clutch replaced (it no longer can move) and I am assuming I need a whole clutch assembly. A friend's dad is going to put in the clutch; he said get the parts and he will put it in. I am a bit confused about what I need to get.

I was looking at the clutch assembly at this site's catalog ("Clutch Assembly - For A, B, C, Super C, 100, 130, 140, 200, 230, 240, 404, 2404 all with Rockford style clutch") , and I was also looking at another site and they have a "UT3285 Clutch Rebuild Kit A, B, C, Super A & C, 100, 130, 140".

Will either one of these kits do? They both ship for $18 they say and the price difference is $5. Thanks for any help.

Tim: Those tractors all have the same clutch, but make sure you are getting a Rockford clutch. I would buy the clutch disc, presure plate, release bearing and pilot bearing. Make sure all those items are included. Shortcuts in this case usually result in splitting tractor second time.
